QATM takes care of metallographic sample preparation and hardness testing and ERWEKA is our producer of pharmaceutical testing devices. Verder Scientific operates 13 production sites and eleven sales companies worldwide and are part of the German-Dutch technology group Verder, a group of companies with over 2500 employees around the globe. We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive sales of Retsch's premium sample preparation and particle analysis equipment in India. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in material characterization, particularly in milling, sieving, and particle analysis, combined with proven sales expertise in laboratory equipment.Develop and execute sales strategies for Retsch's complete product line including mills, grinders, sieves, and particle analyzers
Build and maintain relationships with key customers in research institutions, industrial laboratories, and quality control departments
Prepare and present technical proposals and product demonstrations
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory in India
Identify new market opportunities across various industries (pharmaceuticals, mining, cement, chemicals, research institutions)
Support customers with application-specific solutions in particle size reduction and analysis
Collaborate with global technical teams for complex customer requirements
Provide guidance on method development for sample preparation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, specifically in laboratory equipment, analytical instruments, or precision engineering equipment
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the Indian market
  • Experience with instrumentation, automation systems, and analytical equipment
  • Additional knowledge of particle size analysis and material characterization would be an added advantage
