Doing what is fun
Responsibilities:
- Support customers with troubleshooting by phone, email, and onsite for Carbolite Gero furnaces and ovens.
- Perform onsite commissioning of new equipment and in-house troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Maintain VSUS lab units and use CRM and ERP systems to generate accurate quotations for service and components.
- Utilize strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to support and maintain strong relationships with key account personnel and end users as well as maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or equivalent is required
- Additionally, relevant experience with high voltage electrical systems, vacuum systems, and PLC systems is required
- Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of vacuum systems to support and troubleshoot existing and new equipment
- Familiarity with leak detection equipment is required
- Familiarity with rotary pump maintenance is required
- Candidate must have a working understanding of PLC systems and working through PLC HMI
- Programing is not required but the candidate must have a working understanding of updating existing PLC systems and altering parameters
