Your primary responsibilities as Carbolite Territory Sales Manager:
- Stakeholder Management: interact with a diverse group of prospects/customers ranging from managers, engineers, supervisors, and technicians, to professors, and students.
- Sales process ownership: prepare and send quotations/information to prospects/customers and manage follow-up sales process activities via CRM pipeline.
- Event planning: plan and coordinate travel for prospect/customer visits, equipment/consumables demonstrations, and represent the company at relevant conferences, tradeshows, and meetings.
- Technical and application support: field customer inquiries via email and phone, provide application consultations to customers for recommended equipment, and answer technical questions regarding PLC, vacuum, and other systems being offered.
- Accurate and timely communication: Facilitate information exchange between customers and project management to ensure continuity between our offering and the technical requirements of the customer.
- Territory management: conduct sales and marketing activities within an assigned territory, including maintaining opportunity and sales pipeline reports, and scheduling Webex consultations and training.
As Carbolite Territory Sales Manager you're a perfect match, if...
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Material Science (or equivalent) and minimum of 3 years’ work experience as a maintenance/service technician, or research in a laboratory or factory setting.
- Work experience: prior technical understanding of typical heat treatment applications, vacuum technology, PLC systems is a required; technical sales experience is desirable.
- Commercial & Strategic Acumen: ability to drive revenue growth, manage KPIs, and align with structured pricing and sales strategies.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: strong negotiation and relationship-building skills across technical and commercial stakeholders; high level of autonomy.
- Additional skills: CRM, Microsoft office
- Location: based out of Newtown, PA or Atlanta, GA or Los Angeles area with willingness for nationwide travel as required.
