Your responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and direction for all business activities in the Benelux region, including full P&L accountability and achievement of ambitious business targets.
- Define and implement effective growth strategies in close collaboration with headquarters and international partners.
- Lead, develop, and motivate the local Sales & Service Team, promoting a culture of high performance, innovation, and collaboration.
- Actively drive sales of Microtrac of Microtrac Surface instruments, providing expert technical support and consultation on instrumentation for surface area determination (BET theory, porosimetry) and pore size analysis.
- Engaging with key customers and research institutions, particularly those working on catalysts, MOFs, biochar, and chemical synthesis and supporting the entire sales process from lead generation to after-sales service.
- Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities, customer segments, and product launches across the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and with regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate closely with the international management team to align strategies and leverage group synergies.
Your profile:
- Several years of leadership experience in the scientific instrumentation, laboratory equipment, or related sectors, ideally within the Benelux market.
- Strong commercial, strategic, and operational mindset, with a proven track record in business development and team management.
- Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation for surface area and porosity determination (BET analysis, pore size calculation. Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in Dutch, French and English
- Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on mentality, and willingness to travel regularly within the Benelux region.
